Kia Ora People.
Just spend 4 or 5 hrs yesterday trying to find a friends Mavic. Before I get into indepth he was flying in a highly inlegal place but as he said was only 10 mtrs (32 ft ) height.
What Dumb (false name) was doing is putting out a fishing line. After turning round with the drone and dropping the line the Mavic decided to just loose control and fly straight inland, Dumb lost control and also lost visiual becuase of the sun glare on his Mini Pad.  
I am having trouble narrowing it down to a 2-- 4 mtrs radaius ( 6---12 ft) or when I think I am right .....the news for my friend is going to be all bad news!
Please can somebody help us ? Attached are my workings.

Also do forumn members know if electric fences interfer with the drone For some reason i cannot upload this with the true coordinates? Any help excepted thank you.

Yes those coordinates are not in New Zealand!
(A couple of months ago, I drove from Queenstown to the Coromandel peninsular and Auckland. Didn't go near those coordinates).
Do you have the correct ones for your search radius?

sorry to disappoint you  Dorset_Horn butyes these coordinates are certainly where I said!
If you think otherwise ; then where do you think they are please ?

yeah might be right but I am talking about the Southern Hempspeir and maybe you are in the Northern ?

Should those coordinates have - (minus) in front of them? I can't believe I'm having so much difficulty getting g**gle maps to accept the correct formula!
