It might be better to avoid panning at all.
Usually it is more viewable if you make shots that have slow movement in multiple directions (forward + a small pan etc.)
I might do a short tutorial on this soon

Yeah, I debated on slowing in down. It was really windy, so I didn't want it up very long. Thanks for the comment, though.
I can understand wanting to get it back down when it becomes really windy. I am still trying to slow down the panning on my videos.
