Hello,

We've used the Ronin-S with an a7iii and sony af glass before to good success. I recently bought the Ronin-SC and the focus motor blinks red twice while the focus wheel is green. Here's the setup:

• a7iii - with confirmed correct settings, MF, PC Remote
• Metabones Adapter - Canon EF Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter (Mark V)
• Rokinon 24mm prime (no autofocus or electronics)
• Focus multi adapter plugged in through USB-C in order to control the focus motor (the extra motor, not the lens)
  

Here's what I've tried:

• updating firmware, even holding focus wheel button when booting Ronin to force update mode
• tried replugging and repatching everything
• tried pressing all series of buttons on the focus wheel
  

I've scoured through the forums and google searches and I'm not seeing anyone using a metabones with a dumb lens on the SC. Does this work? Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Finally through another forced update mode in another location I got it to work. The update was for the focus motor and after that processed the motor is now working correctly.
