I'm looking for iOS tablet to monitor my drone video shooting.

I have Mavic Air and I want bigger screen then my phone has.
(Also I don't want to use my phone to shooting video.)

For me it's perfect with 7.9" screen, not too big, not too small.

We're using DJI GO 4 and I know there's no iPad mini 2 (or even 4) is not on the lastest app compatible list.

If there's someone who using iPad mini 2 with Mavic Air, how is it?

I want to ask is it ok to buy an used iPad mini 2?

The ipad mini 2 won't work with DJI Go4 required to fly the MA, it's doesn't have the processing power required for the video streaming

The Ipad Mini 4 is the minimum you can use with the DJI Go4 app as it's cpu and memory intensive

The mini 2 is six years old, has a slow, old processor and only 1GB of RAM.
The world and DJI's Go app have moved on since then.
Go for a Mini 4 at a minimum.

Concur with all the above. You need a minimum of A8X processor (Mini 2 has the A7), and even that is borderline.

Sorry to tell that iPad Mini 2 may not be compatible with DJI GO 4 app. Below's the iOS device compatibility list, the devices listed latter are iOS tablets, just FYI.

My sister has iPad mini 4 and she said she doesn't use it since she got iPad pro 11".
I asked her to let me use mini 4 and she said yes.
One thing, she lives in South Korea and has to find out the way to send me it..........

Try reading the whole thread, it advises against using the Mini 2 because it is too slow.

Well, 'probably won't work' or 'I wouldn't get it' doesn't help.  I was looking for someone who is actually using the iPad mini 2 to fly the mavic air 2.

That person may be hard to find if the Mini 2 does not waork. But in any event, the Mini 2 was not working on any of the earlier DJI drones quite some time ago, so chances are it still does not work.

Hi How did you get away with that ? I heard ipad mini is not compatible in 2020? if it can i can aslo buy as its cheaper option
