Drones are the perfect camera's for the tilt shift effect as they can provide the same perspective as you would have when looking over a model layout.
Just add a blurred layer and mask parts of that layer.
I like to make a line that is sharp instead of round part that is in focus, as it resembles 'true' depth of field (that depends on distance)
Usually I add a little contrast and saturation to mimic the 'model effect' even more.

If you are on the lookout for something 'more', I use Affinity Photo for photo editing.
Close to Photoshop. Sometimes even better.
And way less expensive.

Depending on the amount of dynamic range you have to 'bridge' I would opt for 7.
At least, I suspect there is more gap in the 7 batch than in the 5

I'll experiment with it mate and take 5 and 7 and see what the difference looks like.
