I've been curious about all the range booster / extenders that I've seen for sale online. I've seen mixed reviews so I wasn't sure if I wanted to waste money on one (as cheap as they may be lol). The solution: I decided to design and 3D-print my own! I have yet to actually test it out but it fits perfectly and looks just like the ones for sale on eBay and Amazon. Anyway, if anyone wants to try it, you can grab the files from the Thingiverse link below. If any of you do give it a shot, let me know what kind of results you get.

Couldn't tell you the technical term. lol I just made a cylinder and sliced it.

Good thing the Mavic Pro has excellent range.
I never have connection issues.

Update: Finally got to test them out today. Did a two different test flights in two different directions with and without the extenders. The results are consistently better with the extenders. I got 1,000ft farther on one and about 400ft farther on the other. Not too bad. I'm sure results will vary a lot depending on whether conditions, terrain, and obstacles but they do work.

There's a better reflector + Yagi antenna....
