Bought this cheap led Head torch from our UK £1 shop poundland just to try it out and I think it works very well, the light takes 3 AAAs and has 3 options high, low and flash, tried it out yesterday and I'm very happy with the results, sprayed it gray this morning, all sensors are clear and no errors.
Now I'm a Yorkshire man and we are renowned for not wanting to spend a lot,

Hi yes just leg extensions, plenty to choose from on ebay.

Your welcome,  the lights are really very bright and for the price it's worth a go.

I have a slightly smaller one, 4 grams... To be seen for miles at dusk and in the dark. Rechargeable lipo...

Hi looks good, I had been looking at those, in fact I've been looking at them for months but just happened across the the cheap one and it seems OK, not tried at dusk yet in fact I've never flown my MP1 in anything but full day light. As for size mine would only fit on the rear leg extensions.

Looks good, but the only "issue" I can see is that it seems to be blocking from view the AC status light. Especially when up in the air...

It looks worse than it is, it is actually still visible, however I find it hard to see at the best of times, we are going to our friends farm again tomorrow for my wife to walk his fields for her exercise to keep away from other people so I'll give it another fly and just check properly. Thanks for the heads up.
PS it does work rather well

I've got 2 of the Strobon crees devices on my Mavic, one just above the status light and the other on the top front, sitting like "a tick"...
The top one for visibilty from the top/side (for other full size AC), and the one on the rear, for my visual orientation .
But yes, they do help....alot...

I have a Strobon. I can highly recommend them. Very light and very bright.
