I get activation data error. restart device and try again. Tried it multiple times and has not worked.

Try again, ifit fails,   turn off and on again the  wifi, data services, wait for it to pop on and see if it accepts.

I bought the Osmo Action. How I can activate it because I do not have smartphone? Old GoPro worked perfectly and it work well with laptop where I have done editing So, how I can activate and start using Osmo Action.

I have the same problem can't move forward from activation screen, every time data error message. I got apple SE 2020 phone.
