Hi all,
I thought I had an active account here as I am a frequent visitor and reader but first-time poster.
My Mavic Pro has developed a serious vibration. See attached video to get an impression.
Any suggestion as to what causes this?
I have tried various things to solve it. Calibrating in different ways, updating soft- and firmware, checking cables in the gimbal setup and on the various boards. All looks good.

In the footage you see the camera shake while flying. This often happens a few minutes into the flight. The camera shakes and also tilts down and slowly recovers back up, to fall down again ... etc.

Here the link to the video file on one my business servers.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing trouble with the drone, Jan. After checking your video, I am afraid that you may need to send in the drone for diagnosis. Please fill out the online repair request on our official web and then send it back. Here is the link: https://repair.dji.com/repair/index?site=brandsite&from=nav.

You might need to change one or more of the propellers.

The prop could do this issue if it is damaged.

I agree, try changing all the props first and recalibrating everything.

Thanks for the reply Ahmed. I'll give it a go.

Did a test today, new blades, no difference.
The Gimbal calibration does not go past 5% and the camera head keeps getting locked on the up and back position.
The strange thing is that I did not hit anything or damage stuff elsewhere, it just had this behavior all of a sudden.

Any last suggestions before I order a new Gimbal?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Still trying to solve the issue with the camera/gimbal.
Before ordering a new gimbal set I wanted to do one last thing. I exchanged the gimbal flat cable, but sadly this did not change the behavior of the camera/gimbal setup. It still acts erratically. Auto calibration of the gimbal does not go passed 5% and an IMU calibration does not affect anything. A manual gimbal calibration calls a cancel after the nose is tilted down while turning 360 degrees.

Here a little video on the camera/gimbal movement:
http://www.hiltservices.nl/uploads/films/DJIMavicPro_camera_gimbal_movement.mp4

As I changed out the flat cable and the problem still persists. So is it correct to conclude that exchanging the gimbal unit will not solve the issue?
Are there any options, tests I can do?

Thanks in advance,
Jan.
