Well it’s back to pi#sing rain today, yeah living by the sea wind tends to come with tides so through the day you always get slots where wind drops and being off work I can now pick and choose particularly with the long days, Mavic 2 is great even in wind .

I just use gradient filters in photo shop, usually I spend quite a short time in post, but this image and a few others this week I have started to spend more time editing being off work because of virus, so although I’m still not happy I’m starting to enjoy the novelty of editing, I use mostly Lightroom on my iPad and also PS. This picture I have gone back many times to take because I can fly here from my home .

Can you talk us through how you got the shot? Did you take two different exposures?

Love the contrast in tones, the blues, greens and oranges are so vibrant, not too much but very well balanced

When shooting panorama, first try shooting on a calm day, I usually take 6 or 9 shots in rows of 3’s I always leave at least 30% overlap on each photograph.
Try to expose for the brightest part of the image, I use Lightroom to edit I usually edit one photo and copy and paste edits to remaining photos, I then export to PS to stitch and usually do small edits on stitched photo, I usually use raw photos, but many times particularly when light is good use just jpeg,  also if you don’t have Lightroom photoshop they’re many other editing programs including free to stitch and edit photos, I think using decent overlap and taking more photos is important .

Who needs to leave home with that scenery. Great pic thanks for sharing.
