I was just wondering about the protocols and methods my fellow Canadians were using for a commercial drone mission.
What I mean is, what kind of apps would you be using to get the information for preflight (NOTAMs, wind, airspace classes, etc.), how much time and detail are the flight plans, and what kind of legal documentation you have to push through to fly, for example, a resort. Another thing is drone insurance. Are we still obligated to have some? If not is it a good idea to get it anyways? Last time I looked into it, the insurance of a year was fairly expensive unless I get enough work.

I'm just looking for some detailed information so I'm not missing anything before I really start doing commercial work. A good workflow from start to finish on a job would be really good information for me to shed some light! I'm not sure if I'm overthinking some of the things I would be doing or missing something.
