Hi guys!

Is it possible to mount the H3-3D gimbal upside down (on top of my hexacopter). The reason for doing this is that I'd like to get some sweeping shots of the high ceiling of a building in which I'm shooting next week. I've tried simply turning the hex upside down before powering up and it seems to just confuse the gimbal, but if I actually remove the gimbal and just mount it on top, will it work properly upside down?

No, it will make the gimbal crazy. You can try using DJI ronin to realize this.

Thanks - the Ronin is too big for this particular craft. But no problem. It seems silly that there is not an option to mount upside down as surely it's just a slight alteration needed on the firmware side?

Thanks for your suggestion. We will continue to work hard on improving the gimbal's function, make it more multi-functional.
