I'm having an issue.  Whenever I zoom in, the mavic 2 zoom turns to the left.  Any ideas on how to fix?

Mine has also just started doing the same
As I manually zoom in the craft starts rotating left slowly, as i release the zoom dial it stops, but also resumes when trying to continue zooming, even when camera is at full zoom the craft will still rotate left, on zooming back in..... yes you guessed it it rotates right...

Odd behaviour from the craft.
I have recalibrated the compass, imu, and control but it still is not 100's

I have same issue. It's not happening all the time I'm zooming in and it looks like not the whole drone, but only camera is rotating. Need to do some tests to see if it's actualy camera rotating left.

I have this same issue but it is on the Mavic 2 Pro.
The Thumbwheel (right side) that  controls the aperture ...(.which does the zoom on the Zoom's camera).... makes the drone turn left or right if held at the end of it's range (held against the "stop") .. This doesn't appear to actually happen when moving though, just if hovering!
Very weird and I originally thought the controller is going bad! But, now that I see this post, I realize that maybe it is software some how ?
Ohh, the smart controller does NOT do this, just the "regular" controller

I haven't experienced this effect whilst doing a zoom ( in or out) but at the end of the Zoom, there is a slight drift of the camera direction, as though there might  be a slight lag on the zoom control. For me, it's very slight, and settles after a 1 to 2 degree drift lasting maybe a couple of seconds. I will pay more attention next time the drone is aloft.

Do some tests today. It's actualy drone turning to the left, not the camera. When right dial is at the end position it turns slowly, But when actualy zooming it turns very fast. Zooming out returns original position. To turn this wierd "feature" off, it's enough to turn drone right or left with stick. But then, in uknown moment, it starts rotating again

Same happening here, not always but when zooming in drone rotates left.

So did they figured out what cause this problem or the fix?

Auto calibrating the gimbal sorted it for me
