Why do you think your Mavic flew away?
You don't know what happened to it, what makes you think that it flew anywhere?
You need to find out what really happened before you can say anything.

Post your flight data if you want someone to analyse it and possibly find out what ahppened.

If it didn't return home, I would have went to its last known location and searched for it.  As Labroides mentioned, I'd suggest posting your FlightRecord to the Phantom Help log viewer page and pass along the link here.  Many smart folks on here may be able to help you understand what happened or where it was when it lost connection.

I'd like to analyse your flight data but the site you've put it on is a dud.
I've tried a few times and it crawls for several minutes and then stalls.
I can't get more than 75% to download.

I think you can attach the .txt file directly but if you can't, you could go to:  https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/
Follow the instructions there to upload the .txt file.
Come back and post a link to the report it gives you.

The file finally downloaded but it's corrupted and just shows garbage data like this:
https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/TURDPNZZO5K3ODJQ928H/

You could try what I suggested in the previous post.
Perhaps that would work better?

Hi Peter,

Only 7 seconds of data in your flightlog, well only 7 seconds wich converts from txt to csv without an error...  so cannot help you, sorry.

HomePoint was set to 53.54314900, -2.25530900.
I am not familiar with flying in a Warning Zone class D airspace, this was the only warning shown to you.

At the end just one weird entry in the log ; "FakeBatteryLanding"....  never saw that before in any log, but after that all normal values.

Mayby your DAT file will tell more, as you lost your drone many minutes (guessing as it was 1400 feet away) later in flight.

EDIT  did convert it other way, now its more readible....
In the log random multiple Auto Takeoff entries...wich resets the HP again.
At the end GPS, Compass and BattCommsErrors and MotorBlock and FakeBatteryLandings errors as well.
Uh, i cannot make sense out of your flightlog, but something was really wrong!
(btw - time data in MinSecs column shows the wrong values, due to missing time data in the log at some records.)

If it did RTH, last HomePoint location = 53.54093100, -2.25269000.

cheers
JJB

Good stuff, thanks for your help all those errors dont look good.

Dji have all my records now i had to sync all my previous flight data aswell, they said up to 3 days from yesterday for results so will let you all know as soon as i know. I have searched all that last seen area over 2 days could not find its either on the canopy or somebody picked it up (what was left of it). I have reported it lost to drone registry . Thanks again guys..

WOW DJI's report from my flight data very suppprised quite laughable see below

1. The aircraft worked under GPS mode and it responded to the pilot's commands well;
2. Flight Time T=03:30, Relative Height H=156.4 m, Distance to Home Point D=504.5 m, the pilot pushed forward the pitch stick and moved the yaw stick to the right, the flight record ended when the aircraft was turning clockwise and flying forward at the speed of 13.7 m/s;
3. The take-off point: 53.5431494 -2.2553087; The last recorded point: 53.5393805 -2.2510587.

Based on the currently available data, the root cause of the incident could not be verified.

Are they serious , they offered me 30% of a new one i refused and wrote back asking for a more detailed report and to confirm it was pilot error

Thanks

My apologies you’re correct although there are some parts including the frame which are not warranted, which is a little strange.
