No, you can't view your custom OSD (i.e. BetaFlight). You can only view the DJI OSD, but it is not recorded on the movie. It is only saved in the .srt file that has to be manually overlaid with dedicated software.

I think that if your FC has a black box you can do an overlay in post.

Rolled my remaining AU's back to v01.00.04.00 and recording works fine again. The issue with the freezing OSD elements seems more pronounced though. Shake a leg DJI we need v01.00.06.00.

Exact same behavior for me.

I think DJI will need a while for the next update, because they also have to do an update for the Caddx Nebula.
But I hope it won't take much longer

Dji, I would like, please, to keep the analog video in static when there is weak signal, instead of jumping to the DJI start logo. I'll be waiting for more updates!

Flashed new v01.00.06.00 firmware and as soon as I get a day when it's not raining I will see if they fixed the record issues. So far though the 50Mbps mode works and looks better just placing it on the porch and switching between modes.

So I installed the .06 updates, however when setting the Transmission the 3rd menu item "bitrate" is greyed out.  I believe this should work in Canada.  Is there something I need to set first?

canada isn't governed by the FCC so you won't be getting 50mbps without changing your region (could be wrong but that's my working theory)

And how would one go about changing the region?  I've connected my NORD VPN to a US site and then wanted to reinstall the firmware but the DJI Assist software does not work through the VPN, "network error"
UPDATE:  Reinstalled Air Unit firmware now 50mbps is working.

I updated to version 6 update but i canot select the 25mbs option to cjange it to the 50mbs ootion? Its strange cause the option lights up when i first enter the drop down menu but it imediately turns grey and is unselectable.....any ideas? I updated twice same issue both times

Nearly works 100%. The new 50Mbps mode doubles range to 13KM which is awesome. No more chopping of videos and remaining corruption was solved by updating video codecs. The lagging/freezing OSD issue is still present but catches up after about 10 seconds when it happens.

Now for v01.00.07.00 we need:

Lagging/freezing OSD issue gone totally
Live audio
All OSD elements especially GPS recorded in SRT file
Full OSD playback on goggles
Full Betaflight OSD elements available as especially "warnings" is needed
Improved audio bitrate 160Kbps or greater (vs current 96Kbps)
Improved video bitrate 50Mbps or greater (vs current 40Mbps)
Option to have the Air unit stretch to 16:9 when recording to save post processing
Air unit temperature OSD element
User configurable low battery warning voltage
Selectable automatic EV+ feature for when transitioning from light to dark and vice versa to prevent whiteout and blackout


Addendum fanciful suggestions:

Non GPS distance from home using radio signal range finding
Live stabilisation at slightly lower resolution
Software radio analogue reception
Full spectral analysis menu with auto recommended channel selection feature
Auto channel switching if analogue video detected on same channel during or before flight with alert message
Lower bitrate, higher range (26KM) 2.4Ghz mode available after installation of appropriate antennas with perhaps option to have both 5.8 and 2.4 modes using one antenna of each type switching as range ends

I just updated the DJI air unit and Goggles to the latest version (v01.00.05.00) but I have some problems with GPS OSD. I have activate gps osd at betaflight for the home arrow, coordinates and location of the home point.

But when I try to fly it today, home arrow and home point location do not work, i saw GPS sat and coordinates (log/lat) working.

Yep...I just finished an FPV setup with the DJI Digital FPV System working with a fixed wing FC the Mateksys    F765-wing. Same problem your having with the OSD in that a single bar displays where the direction to home arrow is  supposed to be. Also, only the side bars for the artificial horizon exist...basically unusable.
The setup was done in INAV and all looked good until you view in the DJI goggles. My feeling is DJI has restricted what can be available in the OSD regardless of how it's set up.
