Shot the first video on 4-12 with the Mavic Pro Platinum. A ridiculous amount of snow came down in a very short period of time. Visibility was VERY low. But still a fun and enjoyable flight around the lake.



2nd video is from 4-7 in the exact same location with the Mavic Mini. Minnesota weather is a wild ride.

Thanks for watching and commenting Montfrooij. It was a decent year for snow in Minnesota. Last year was a record setting year so this year seems small in comparison. Last year I had to shovel the roof because there was a 3-4 foot drift covering our roof vents!

Wow, I would love that kind of winter actually.
But that would mean I would have to move to some other country I guess.
We don't have a 'snow friendly' climate.

Be careful, you're not supposed to fly with less than 3sm visibility.

Nice footage, especially the snowy clip. I am not sure if I would have the courage to fly in that snow

The MPP had no issues with that amount of snow. I've flown the Spark and the MA in similar weather with no issues. I would NOT fly the Mavic Mini in these conditions. Probably not enough power.
