Flew a few packs today. Ambient temp. was around 100F. Goggles and Air unit on .6 running 50Mbs. First flight @ 200mW was fine (3+ min). Second flight didn't record at all, and has unsupported file format error. Third flight @ 25mW recorded fine. Had a couple of short flights that ended in crashes after that, but they recorded okay. I lost my best flight (the second one) on the air unit, but recorded fine in the goggles. It seems to me that the Air unit just can't handle the heat with the new firmware. I may revert to .4 for a while to see if I keep having issues - which might help determine if it is a heat issue, heat + firmware issue, or what. Bezik, I am jealous of the temps and of your good performing quads!
I forgot to say that these flights are with the recommended Sandisk Extreme 3.0 SD cards, both formated in the Air unit.
I noticed the SD card slow warning when I landed after the second flight. Interestingly, I had recording indication (flashing red dot on both Air unit and goggles for at least the beginning of the flight - I made sure to make note of it by flying nice and slow for the first 30 seconds or so while watching this indication). So, I am kinda surprised that the file name is in my playback queue, but when I try to play it I get the unsupported file format error. Has anyone seen this yet?
