The transitions feel and bit too fast and sharp,  like jumping back and forth between two locations.

It totally depends on your mind buddy

Very nice video!
Next time, you might want to try include a second direction in your movements.
(like forward and turning a little).
Or fly up, tilt gimbal down (slowly).
Like that.
Or even 3 directions.
Forward, sideways left and turn right.
That gives for even more interesting motion.  

When I have time, I will make some video about it.
