I've run into a serious problem with 1.00.500 firmware.  For some reason, I get a message that I am in a restricted area.  It thinks I am too close to Downsview airport (airport code YZD) even though I am nowhere near this airport.  The aircraft will take off but I get repeated nags that the restricted zone is nearby and my max speed is 10.2km/hr.  This is both in Position mode and Sport mode. This speed restriction essentially renders my Mini grounded since if I get the slightest wind, it will drift away.  I know of at least one other pilot who is having the same issues.

How do I go back to 1.00.400 which didn't have this problem?

Use DJI Assistant to install the previous firmware. It is on the DJI site under downloads. But that might not do it if this has to do with the geo zone database.

Hmmm. IF it is a no fly database problem I guess there isn't much point.  I noticed that the there is a TFR from APril 20th to July 30th for some bizarre reason and I'm wondering if this has something to do with it.  The problem is that I am nowhere near as you can see on the map:  I have circled Downsview in Yellow.

Anyway, downsview airport is that single line pointing NW below 'Vaughan"

I believe that they are using the base for Military purposes on a temporary basis to assist in COVID19 .

Good to know.  I knew that CFB Borden was used but not Downsview.  Still don't know why this would impact where I fly unless somehow it is Province wide.  Still, is there a way to report something to the for investigation on Geozone map?

Turn on the warnings on your map. You are showing authorized and restricted. Are the warning circles extra big and causing the messages?

I'm in Niagara Falls. I'm getting the same downsview airport restricted zone which is 100 kilometers away. How can I fix it

Still clear in the area I was flying.

I updated firmware last night now it's giving errors restricted zone

No I'm not. It's telling me downsview airport 100 plus kilos away

Did you guys try reinstalling the firmware using DJI Assistant? Might not fix it, but it can't hurt. There have been issues with upgrading firmware with the app.

AFAIK the FW isnt responsible for the NFZ's, thats the flysafe database that you update manually, once updated you cant downgrade it.

True, but just in case a FW issue is messing with things.

If there is a mistake in the NFZ database, you can send an email to Dji support to give them the informations, they will check and update the database.

Seem to be a problem with the flysafe database.  I downgraded to 400 and still get the same error.  Didn't have a chance to see if my speed was crippled to 10.2km/h since I was just hovering in my backyard.

No updates available. It's crap like this which is why I never updated my P4P beyond 1.3.509.  I will send DJI an email requesting investigation and resolution.  As of a few minutes ago, unless I stand corrected there was no NOTAM I could find from Transport Canada regarding a TFR for CYZD.

Have a similar issue. I am near the airport but in a blu zone. I had to request authorization to fly via the app and my phone number. I am able to fly but it's slow like 10km and hour maybe even less. I just got this drone and did FW and Zone update Fak.

Also from Toronto and no where near downsview park.  Also getting the restrcited fly zone message. The weird thing is, sometimes the message will go away when im flying.

I'm getting the same thing, Grand Island NY...Mavic mini just got today. I'm 55 miles away from this Downsview airport..

The same problem  in Kitchener Ontario, and the same message about „ Downsview airport..”

Tried to fly a the same site I flew last week, with a P4RTK, "close to airport, reducing flight speed", NOPE, I'm over 100km away from Downsview.   Thanks for rendering our work useless, until this is fixed I too am unable to make any money for my family and support ourselves.  This must be fixed ASAP.  This is not a firmware update, I did not even update my system from last week and yet I was given this error.  After a firmware update, issue remained.

Um, yeah I do not think this is right.  Me, blue/white marker vs. Downsview.  NOPE!

That is good news at least!  I think I will hang tight since tomorrow will be crap, weatherwise, to fly the mini in the GTA anyway.

Same issue here. West GTA. About 50km from downsview. Drone has become very slow since the last update, and I get this restricted zone downsview warning.

Is anyone outside Canada getting this error???

Could it be due to this jet fighter training happening soon in toronto??  Especially since theres a military base at downsview.  Maybe the jets are landing there?? Might be a premature warning placed to warn drone users of mondays shut down
