My poor old Osmo Pocket can't cope with my Coronavirus mask.  

Face recognition with my mask on is beyond it's comprehansion and it can't find me.

Asking too much of it suppose

I hear iPhones have the same issue with Face ID so probably asking too much of it.

FaceTrack is enabled automatically if a face is detected in Selfie mode, it captures every move of your face. It would be hard to identify the face with the mask. We will forward to our engineers for attention. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks Mindy - My comment was 'tongue in cheek' - I don't expect my OP to find me when I have a face mask on.

hahahaha, every one is facing this problem, My wife have purchased mask from Masksup Coupons but now his phone can't recognize here.  But still she wear mask most of the time for her own and other health.

I saw someone was selling face masks with a transparent bit over the mouth.  Not very practical I would have thought, but might help the Pocket.  Meanwhile, my wife is rejoicing that she no longer has to put on makeup when she goes out.  I'm rejoicing that I can now wear lipstick and not attract attention.  (OK, my tongue is in my cheek.  But of course you can't see that either.  Strange times...)

These ARE strange times!!
I do not use the camera in that mode but I am glad I read this posting.

If one also owns an Apple Watch, iPhones will unlock with a mask on.

Yep,  I use that all the time and its great.   also use it to unlock my Macs too.
