I've just done the upgrade without any problem, but still no french version of du UI's smart controller !!!

Hi there. I just updated with this version and I noted that inside Settings\DJILab the third option is displayed in Chinese language. I have no clue what it is for. Fortunately is "off" by default. Does anyone know what it is for?

and its still on .32 go4 app, so where is this .36, your lucky my DJI Lab is missing now, all I have is Chinese letters that do nothing when clicked on.

Keeps failing for me due to insufficient storage space error code 0x00

I done it with assistant 2, clear all you cache, take out memory card if you have one in there, off load all vids and pics or do a factory reset and give it a go. might be other things to try but that's all that comes to mind at the minute

that's my thinking,1 day before new drone gets revealed and/or lunches they release a firmware update for the smart controller for a phantom 4 pro V2.0 and goggles which has been out before and could been added at anytime long ago?  i think hidden support for new drone being revealed tomorrow.


as a side note though, im prob not going to buy the mavic air 2 for a while, give it a couple months then jump on it after demand drops and major issues ge irond out.

Updated to Smart Controller Firmware  v01.00.0700, but still on DJI GO 4 App: v4.3.32.  No trace of v4.3.36 on the SC, nor on the Google Play Store. Guess that for another time.

(I notice that the recording with the microphone (screenrecording) is always in "under water" mode)

Could somebody confirm if time shift issue when summer time is finally resolved in this firmware? Thanks.

So far so good, update went thru without problems.  
But I see that that fixing that 'additional hour' issue is there still.

Every time I switch SC on, it automatically add 1 hour.  I had forgot that issue because maybe during winter time it didn't do it.
But now in summer time, without wifi, every single time.
Would not prevent me flying, but it is annoying as sometime those time stamps are quite useful.

Also have notice this time to time.  Video taken between still shots is own time zone.  Even compared to SRT-file.

@DJI, could you please finaly focus on time shift issue which is being reported in this forum for ages already? Thanks. David

My bad, DJI Labs is there and working ok, was looking at the bottom of settings for it when its not so far down,

Update via wifi fails. It seem to install but doesn't take and tells me that an update is available immediately after it is finished. When I try to do it through DJI Assistant 2, it fails to find the smart controller when I turn it on. Tried on two different Windows 10 computers, uninstalled and re-installed DJI Assistant 2 on both computers and doesn't recognize it. Very frustrating.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just as I was finishing another attempt, I saw some window pop up about the SDcard I had in the controller and removed it. I'm trying again without the SD card in the controller and it appears to be downloading the update yet again. I suspect that may have been confusing where the update was supposed to install.

If it fails after this attempt, I'll try the m500 approach with the DJI assistant.

Confirmed: make sure you remove any SD card from the controller itself before attempting the wifi-update. Otherwise, it will attempt to update the SD card as if it is the main storage and not update the controller itself.

I updated one of my SC's over Wi-Fi, for some reason it wouldn't connect to Assistant 2. Its running Pilot but that shouldn't matter.

Depending on what version you are coming from has an Impact! I believe there was a bug in 0530 which required an update using Assistant 2 to get it to 0650, from 0650 to 0700 you would appear to be able to use Wi-Fi.

what is the hdmi update, i was hoping it would fix where i have an external monitor attached to the sc and i can see the full camera on the monitor and the full map on the sc.  still broken, eh?

I’m also in the UK, updated to the new v01.00.0700 firmware but no sign of 4.3.36 on my Smart Controller...I even looked in the ‘hidden’ place for the update check but it tells me I have the latest version installed at v4.3.32?

I really do appreciate the update but the long-standing issue that was there when I purchased my drone 15 months ago in January 2019 of not being able to logon to Livestream to YouTube is still there for me.

Facebook works but I stopped using FB back in 2016...

Also a couple of other issues I am seeing;

DJI Labs: 3rd entry is Chinese!

Remote Identification: Name doesn’t stick!

And I still can’t see a way of having the camera gimbal in ‘free’ mode when flying Waypoints. This for me would be the best thing about Waypoints with the aircraft taking care of the flying while I controlled the camera.

In fact Waypoints needs some love & enhancement IMHO to such a degree that I have been thinking about going over to Litchi.

I did update couple hours after they released the new firmware. It is not the first time DJI make changes to the same firmware package without changing the number.
Maybe I'll try to do a refresh later of the same firmware.

Tried to update the Go4 app, but it keeps saying my 4.3.32 is the latest. No trace of 36 on the Google play store either as I tried updating it on my smartphone.
And DJI is still showing the 32 version on it's website.

The SC needs to support DJI Fly App to support Mavic Air 2.

Maybe this update will allow the FW to be able to load DJI Fly.

Didn't find much about it on the DJI website.

Technically, I think it is possible because it uses Ocusynch 2.0. It's just a software compatibility that is needed.

Just updated via Assistant 2 and all went perfect. Took my Phantom 4 Pro V.2 for a test flight and all went great. Seems so much easier to control with the Smart Controller especially when panning. Great alternative to my Phantom controller and Crystal Sky. Thank you DJI! Now add the Air 2 to the Smart Controller and I will buy one.
