This has not been normal winter.
Has not been snow like this sins 1995 but we can always hope that spring is on coming soon.
At least the midnight sun is just one month away.

Yes it will change but how it's changing that is the question.
We try to stay safe and stay at home as much as we can.

The intention was to take pictures of old routes used for last few hundreds years when you just traveled by foot or on horses in the summer.
When  you see this passes from above its easy to find a new  way to the top,
specially if you own a good Snowmobile or Snow Bike.

     Yeah, those shots were what made me "Happy I live Hawai'i!"  Is cold over there!  Even though it is beautiful and very interesting, it is cold!  Much better in photos.

May I ask what altitude you were flying at?  I'm often hesitant about flying near freezing temperatures.  I've heard that it is not recommended, but the photos are amazing!

If you are referencing to the lines in the snow it's mostly from snow bikes and snowmobiles.
On these photos I have put blue spot on the take off points. The highest on at 1048 m on #5 .

Then the softest is will give away  by weather and ice.
