No need for ND filters at all.
Just lower the exposure a little. (faster shutterspeed).
ND filters are mainly useful for video to get a shutterspeed that is slow enough to introduce some motion blur (usually when you shoot 25 fps video, you want a shutterspeed of 1/50s etc)
For photography you (normally) don't need ND filters except for when you want to get motion blur with very long shutterspeed (hard to achieve with a drone)
You might get confused with a gradient ND filter, that makes the sky darker.
But you will be better of taking multiple exposures with various exposures and blend them in post (AEB option on some drones, merged in a HDR stack later in post) |
