The only thing that make me reluctant to move from MA to MA2 is the lack of hack regarding FCC/CE limitations. I know that the power limitation is *mandatory*, according to local regulations but, with MA, switching to the max power mode helped me to flight in a much more confortable way ...
I don't know if this kind of hack would be enabled on MA2 (because of Occusync & FlyApp)
Any feedback ?

That hack didnt work with ocusync cable drones already released.  Also the EU version will not have air sense.

Sad to loose AIR SENSE in EU.

Do u know if it's just hardware missing or a future software upgrade will fix it?

iJustine said it was a supply chain issue for the hardware so only US would be getting it due to part shortages.

So, you (or iJustine) mean that there's some HW differences ? ... strange...

Sounds strange, but it would not be the first time.
The japanese version of the MM got different batteries (lighter) because of local regulations.

Just so you know, MA2 has a range of 10KM. How far do you want to go?

European regulations are a little bit different from the US...
The official range specs for CE being 500m for 2.4ghz and 300m for 5.8ghz
On my MA, in CE mode: 300m vs in FCC mode: 2000m
Moreover, being in CE mode impacts the quality of the transmission as soon as you are a little bit far away (e.g. 300m) ...
I don't want to fly up to 10km ...but i would like to have a confortable flight ...not so far (1Km sounds correct no ? )

I asked and it was answered by DJI in an other thread, it is the lack of hardware. Actually the Air sense version is 3 grams heavier So it can never be fixed.

As long as it switches between to two like the original Air (something Mavic Mini cannot do), I am happy. Coming to FCC zone from CE with the Air feels like you have got a new drone all together

The Ma2 probably has about 4km of HD transmission range even in CE mode

The FCC mod works just fine on the Air 2
