Hello, everyone, I'd like to know if I need to buy 2 x Tello Edu for swarm flight or I can just get 1 x Tello Edu and get a standard Tello to do swarm?

Also, I was looking at Tello to get my kids into programming but not too sure which is more suitable, standard Tello or the Edu version. IMO they might outgrow the novelty of simple scratch programming soon (I'm not too sure the capability of standard version) but then again, being 8 and 6 years old, they might not go into real programming that soon. Should I wait for Tello 2?

Only Tello edu supports swarm flight, standard Tello does not support this mode, even with an edu.
In respect to the difference of Tello edu and standard Tello, Tello edu supports all Tello’s functions and is updated to SDK 2.0. By using with the mission pads, programming is more interesting and accurate. Plus, users can make Tello edus fly in formation, or swarm flight.
