I will definitely travel to Europe in the future, so I was just wondering if anyone had a guide for how to bring a drone (over 250g) to Europe, and what permits/licenses I would have to get.

Forget the weight. Each country in the EU have separate rules and regulations so you need to check each country you want to visit and fly in.  Some countries like Turkey don't allow you to bring a drone into the country.   A good place to start your research is - https://uavcoach.com/drone-laws/

Another good example of this is France, to fly in France you need to pass their exam and register the drone with them - https://fox-alphatango.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/en/.  In Germany they have a unique requirement for a fire proof label on the drone.  UK has a separate exam and registration process.

That's pretty intensive... I guess I'll just enjoy the history and food instead of drone shots when I travel there

You can do the test online,  its quite easy to pass.

And you can do it in English too.  which is helpful.
