Hi,
Now that the Mini has manual exposure control for video.
It means we can manually adjust ISO, shutter speed & colour tempreature, as well as have 24fps, for lovely filmic capture.
Of course you'll need to stop down the exposure if you're going to select 1/50th shutter speed.

Given how small and fragile the mini's gimbal is, what are the best recommendations for the most lightweight filters, that are still good quality, our there?

I think there's many... just avoid those that cover with glass the entire camera plate, those with screws and so on. Head to Aliexpress.com to have an idea... they all usually come from China so it's very easy to find an extensive assortment there

Just buy on Aliexpress cheap Sunnylife ND filters. Im using them without any problems

No issues with Sunnylife so far.

I have and use these -> Freewell DJI Mavic Mini Filters - Standard Day - 4 Pack.  They are lightweight and have never caused any gimbal or quality issues for me.  (I have never used the CPL filter in the set.)

If you're looking for an ultralight solution that doesn't cause vignetting, you can buy sheets of ND film for fairly cheap.  Cut a piece to size and attach it with something tacky but not permanent, like gaffer's tape or rubber cement.
