Believe it or not. I didn't buy the Mavic Air because it had a terrible sound. The Mavic Air 2 was known to use low noise propellers. Now I've found a sound comparison and I have to say that the Air 2 is not only much quieter, but also really pleasant in terms of sound thanks to a much lower frequency.

Loved the Air 1 but man that sound...glad it's somewhat better with the 2.
