Very unrealiable drone recordings

If I try to do any kind of actual fun things with my drone, it stops recording. It's so annoying. I have to rely on the headset for most of my videos unless I'm flying around casually. I'm flying an iflight DC3 HD 3" quad. Why does it cut off like this? It's also without any warning at all, no indication that it has stopped, just when I go to upload the footage all my videos are cut short. This completely defeats the purpose of this headset. Yes, I have the most recent firmware installed on all my devices. There is nothing wrong with the SD card either, it's fast enough to work in a gopro recording 4k.

Ohh and I noticed today while going over my most recent footage, it doesn't even correlate to doing stunts or anything else. I had videos that just stopped recording at the beginning of a pretty tame flight.

Yep, it's a known issue with latest firmware and DJI is working on it.

Consider putting a capacitor on your build, it should help a bit.
Anyway DJI is aware of this since a lot of users are complaining.
It will be probably fixed with the next firmware.

Didn't see a single dji answer to these complains, are they truly aware ?

I've downgraded air unit version, will test soon

No reply on here but there are a couple of other threads that DJI is/was replying to, so it seems like they are aware. I have not seen much in the way of a fix or saying it is the new firmware though...

Downgraded air unit and goggles to 4 version (from 5) and recordings are working perfectly, flew 6 packs in a row without any problems at all. With latest (5) I can't fly two batteries in a row without 'slow card'.
I am using recommended fast sd card.

The build I purchased does already have a capacitor in it. Hopefully they get this fixed in a new firmware update, they really need to get on this and release a hotfix or something.

I noticed the same recording 'glitch' yesterday.
I got home and compared the goggle/air unit recordings and the air unit simply shut down after about a minute and didn't even start on one other take.
The goggles recorded the content just fine but NOT the air unit.
I guess I'll be forced to back date the firmware until DJI gets this fixed.
A real shame since the latest firmware has some needed updates.
You'd think they'd throughly beta-test this stuff before release.
Sure wouldn't ride in a spacecraft built by them!

Same here on my end. Yesterday I flew 5 packs. First one recorded fine and the others stopped all exactly at 50s of recording. The only difference I had was, the first one was without any gps and after the 2nd one, the gps catched the satelites and was showing speed etc...
