The 'Smart' features of the Mavic Air is something I have yet to try. Your video says I must give it ago next time i'm out, whenever that is under the current lockdown.

Ken, I’ve had my MA for over a year and this is the 1st time I’ve really used Active Track.  I’m glad I did.  I’ll be using it a lot more in the future.  Good luck.

Another nice video, Adriano.  Well done.  How did you manage to get that music on to your video without a copyright strike?  All my music thus far has been “copyright free” stuff.

Couldn't do those videos with the Mavic Air because it doesn't have Dynamic Homepoint.  That's what really frosts me about DJI, that they gave that feature to the Spark but no the MA.  In order to do that with the MA you would have to carry your controller with you.  Otherwise, the limit using just the phone with Active Track is 100M... then it just stops.

Exactly that. When I need to just use phone I do prefer my spark due to Dynamic Home Point. Other limitation is that, I DO NOT KNOW WHY, Mavic Air does not climb while in ActiveTrack (it does in Profile mode only), and spark climbs on profile and "chase" modes.

Would love to have these "features" in Mavic Air. But I gues no more Firmware update for this bird.

ririlan, I’ve been flying for over 2 years and only just now experimented with Active Tracking.  I wish I’d found it earlier.  Now to do some more playing around.

lucky you I spent 500 during covid. to have a Mavic Air that does not work. tried everything I could think of. waste of Time and money trying to fix. and only open on weekdays. smh

cfigu5761, get on to YouTube to help you fix whatever problem it is that you have.  The MA is a great drone.

I tried over a 100 things
Took out sd card
Format sd card on another phone
Cant activate most camera setting
Changed wire
Connected remote to controller
Change batteries
Connected to phone
Put old firmware
Updated new firmware
Calibrated everything
Calibration shows my camera works but won’t pop up when on phone
Tried another phone
Everything
