Notes:

• The Zenmuse Z30 firmware can only be updated via the Micro SD card.
• This firmware is only for updating the Zenmuse Z30 and does not affect the aircraft, Intelligent Flight Battery, or other components.
• Ensure your aircraft's Intelligent Flight Battery is fully charged and that there are no other firmware files on the Micro SD card before updating.
• DO NOT power off the aircraft when updating. It takes approximately five minutes to update the firmware. The aircraft beeps when the update is complete.
  

when downloading the bin file do you need to unzip it to an sd card or do you use the bin file as is

even if i put bin file in as is it does not want to do the update on the z30. it is fitted to the m210 v2 and only the z30 is mounted to the drone

i fitted the z30 to a m210 v2 and it does not want to do the firmware update on the camera.  the attached image is a text file i get once. i put the sd card into a pc after it was in the camera.  when i take the same sd card attach the camera to the m210 v1 it does the update with no hassles.

Unzip the file and use only the .bin file on your SD Card. Mount on Matrice 210 in slot #1 and it should update.
Of course the Z30 can also be used in slot #2 as it has it's own SD Card onboard.

I'm using MAtrice 201 RTK V2. Zenmuse Z30 camera is attached. However, even though I have made all the updates, the 6X hybrid zoom does not work. Could you help me please?

Updated my fleet yesterday and now the Z30 is no longer recognized on the M210v2 gimbals

DJI Pilot - 1.8.0
M210 - 01.00.0690
Z30 - V01.00.06.10 (however the Z30 does not show up in the menu as the gimbal doesn't even seem to know its connected, but it self-tests fine)

All I get is a blank gray screen in pilot but all of the telemetry and FPV work fine.

Updated my fleet yesterday and now the Z30 is no longer recognized on the M210v2 gimbals

How did you update the z30? I can't update mine.
Also, was the hybrid zoom working before updating?

You have to update it using it's MicroSD card.

Okay folks!

SO even though my aircraft was reporting that it was the mos tup to date version, apparently it wasn't! It still required an update via the DJI Assistant to get to 01.00.0690.

Credit goes to Jon McBride from RMUS for accidentally fixing my problem!

So I guess in closing, don't trust the DJI Pilot app to do ALL the updating for you.
