I send 2 of my Phantom 4 Batterys for repair to the DJI service here in Germany.the battery dont charge after a while i not use it in my Phantom 4.


Today i get an answer and invoice:

total repair for the 2 batterys is: 377,99 Euros or 410.00 US$

price for 2 new Batterys of this type on ebay is around 180 US$!

in my eyes this is a totally rip off from DJI and i am very disappointed about this disgusting service!

Per checking your case, the warranty of these two batteries has been expired, for the intelligent battery, it cannot be repaired but only can be replaced. The price of a new DJI P4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery is 189 € on our website, your quotation also contains tax per the policy.

Expensive ... too many .. In my Opinion

when the batteries go into hibernation, they can be recovered, but it seems to me an excessive price for a repair task not so difficult to carry out

and the worst thing is:

DJI Repair center want also money from me if i dont accept their overpriced repair "service".
for the so called "service" check of my batterys.

what is wrong with your repair service DJI???

I repaired a Phantom 4 here in Spain in technical service dji, since dji asked me too much, the difference was 200 euros less

I would be pretty HOT for sure!   How can they charge you more than the cost of New??  Something way wrong with that picture

thats exactly what i think too when i get the invoice from DJI Repair.

Your batteries weren't repaired, they were replaced.
Go to DJI's store and their price is 189 € each, which is what they charged you.

If you buy two batteries from DJI and their store clearly advertises their price, how can you accuse them of ripping you off.
What's the problem?
If you found some that were cheaper somewhere else, that doesn't mean DJI is ripping you off.

The only nonsense I see is what you are writing.
Why wouldn't they charge to return your heavy, dead batteries?

If you think that you can but 2 batteries elsewhere for half what DJI charges, why don't you do that instead of your misguided whinging here?

You sent them two dead batteries and for some strange reason, you want them back.
So they say you have to pay shipping to send your dead batteries back if you are stupid enough to want them.

The battery cannot be repaired, we recommend to use the new one, please keep us updated if you have any further concerns.

I still have one operating battery for my Phantom 4 pro. most of the time i fly my Mavic 2 pro with 5 batterys.
so i will be limited to 30 min flight time for my P4pro from now.
