Yeah got combo. I’m off because of lockdown rules so I will be able to test as soon as I can get it charged.

I haven't heard anything about mine either, but I don't really expect to until thursday or friday next week. That is a LONG time away.

What about the isssue with the batteries? Are there any updates on them as well? Reading other places on this forum that you can not use the charging hub first time, but charge one and one battery by the charging cable.

I thought we might here from a mod , but might have to go with advice from the video .

What's optimized RTH? Does it update homepoint location on the go with the controller for RTH?
Even my old DJI Spark had this feature but Air didn't have it!

I had the same problem with my Phantom 4 Pro Plus. Lost one battery that went into error state. I loaded my Pro 4 battery and 2 x 4 standard batteries all on the MultiCharge and charged them. Lost the Pro 4 battery. It went into a peculiar error state. Of course there was a battery FW upgrade required that I was not aware of.

There is no downside in charging each battery separately and then doing the FW upgrade its a safe procedure.

So I would recommend you do this, You would think that DJI would make a formal statement and recommendation. But alas they remain mute.

I have other things in my order so taking advantage of the free shipping, Still have heard nothing.

All our club fields are closed so no Fixed Wing flying. I have been hooning up and down our street with my Helicopters and drones. The neighbours are quite relaxed about it and the kids in the street like to watch.

I fly at about 5 Metres high to clear any cars that might come down the street.

Anyhow have fun when yours arrives.

I have a soft-spot for the Irish, My Grand Niece.

Wow she’s great, my wife seen her in Ireland last year at the fleadh Cheoil Irish music festival in Drogheada. She teaches Irish dancing. Voice of an Angel .

Yes, there is battery update. Update each battery in aircraft separately

Hello DJI Team,
I have a few suggestions for a future firmware update of the Mavic Air 2:

-Hyperlapse please also in 4K and 2,7K
-adjustment possibilities of a manual image profile for sharpness, contrast, saturation etc.

Basically, a Pro mode would also be interesting for Media Creator, I mean a mode that offers further adjustments. For such a modus and/or firmware I would pay extra money, some camera manufacturers also offer such a mode.

Can you share some more information about this Smart RTH optimization?

Fresh out of the box, the dreaded Gimbal IMU data error. Contact DJI support for assistance (Code 40012). No word from support. Returning and cutting my losses.

Will the mavic air 2 allow gesture controls in the future?

Hi no gimbal speed adjustments. They fooled us talking about easier cinematic movements, etc. No way to fine tune the sticks on the controller.. another gotcha..
DJI support, please address these issues.  

Can you add Samung tablet that we can use like the Tab A 10 inches , cant use my crystal sky and my tablet WTF I dont want to fly with only my phone i need a bigger screen

A functional little machine... MAJOR FLAWS -
I received my fedex package this morning, and promptly performed incoming inspection. All components were there, and I set out to charge batteries. No problems so far.
Firmware update, check. Still good.
I go through all the menu settings... this where things go WRONG
- expo and endpoint adjustment are missing entirely. I need the ability to tune these for the different flight modes. These should be in the ‘control’ tab...
- gimbal speed adjustment (as stated above) are mandatory for any cinematic move.

These are the largest failures for this new ‘state of the art’ machine where I may be better for flying my old Mavic Pro...
I bought this little machine to fly locations and times where my inspire 2 would be too large / dangerous... right now with these limited control options, it is nearly sexless to me.

DJI techs, solve these issues ASAP

i sent 8 emails and some p.ms no reply

I've found an issue with the android app (1.1.0) on my mavic air 2 where the programmable function button only offers selection of LED toggling, and gimble recentering.  It does not allow the selection of map/live video toggling.  I also can't access pictures from drone via the "album" selection in the lower left hand of the screen.  I've found both of these issues with two different droids, one of which is the samsung 8 note which is on the approved list.  I tried these features on an iphone 6 and both work fine.  My drone has latest firmware and my andriod OS is up to date as well.  DJI, when are fixes coming?

You are correct for the Mavic Mini. The setting does exist in the Fly app, but sadly has not been implemented for the Mavic Air 2...

I’m trying to press on DJI and the DJI Support to get these feature activated for the MA2 ASAP.

unfortunately UBS C cable was missing, so have to get one from Amazon ... no flying for the moment ...

Many people have had trouble finding the USB-C cable... it should be in a pocket in the bag.

The guide says its supposed to be there but its not.  
Tech support says its not available for the Mavic Air 2.

Haha you have to be kidding me! This feature is one of the most important settings you can do for your gimbal on any drone! This has to be fixed in a software update? Or else the drone is useless for filming
