Help! Will DJI repair my Firmware-bricked X5 during covid?

I ran the latest firmware updates on my Inspire 1 Pro. At ~15 minutes, the update went to a solid tone and a solid red light.   
It was the first update I had run and the instructions in the release notes made no mention of checking the SD card success message, or even the indicators that note the update was complete. At the time, I believed it was indicating that it was finished and I powered on the remote controller to verify the new firmware settings.


I updated the controller and received an error that the aircraft firmware update failed. At this point, I noticed the "No Image Transmission Signal" error.  
After checking the logs, I discovered that I am receiving "device not recognized" on code lines 800 and 1500. Obviously, this has been discussed at length and after spending the day working through every suggestion online, it's clear that this annoying issue will not be rectified without DJI support.

So: I filled out a RMA request. Interestingly, I received an email stating that repair operations have been delayed or suspended in the wake of the Shelter in Place order.  Is there any chance I'll be able to get this serviced in the timely manner?

Also, one thing I can't confirm: Will replacing this X5 with a new one solve the issue?
