Just took out my Mavic Mini for its first flight. When screwing in one of the joysticks, it broke in half. I had been keeping them in their place in the controller. I took them out only once to test beforehand. I have the extras but I'm a bit concerned that on broke without having really been used. Is this a common problem? Am I not putting them in or taking them out of the controller correctly? Including pic of the broken part and the joysticks in the controller.
I've broken two sets and a set of metal ones, I ended up filling the holes with hot glue and have 2 little nubs that I can control it like a game controller.

Nice looks like a good solution if the others break. Not sure why my pics didn't upload, but they weren't super necessary to understand the situation I guess
Not really sure how much more detail I can give. I took them out of the controller once to test, put them back into the controller. Then, when going out to fly, in the process of screwing one in it broke, It was not even tight yet so it must have already been weakened somehow. I'm not sure why the pics didn't show up in my post
Does the stick have a female thread cut in it? If so it would be interesting to see if the break corresponds to the end of the thread. I had sort of expected it to be male and screw into the ball in the controller.
I guess I will see tomorrow anyway.
