DJI Mavic Air 2 Hyperlapse is a really awesome feature that will allow you to make timelapse in stunning 8K (in free and waypoints). This video includes free samples of timelapse, 48MP Photo, and 4K 60FPS Video Samples you can download and evaluate in your own editing tools (code inside the video)
Please for dummies ;-) an answer : what's the advantage of hyperlapse compared with a normal video or quickshot or POI, what I accelerate later in a video editor ... 6, 8, 10 or whatever times faster ? Ok....the only thing that I can't do is the waypoint feature but what else ? For me an accelerated video looks better. Seen many hyperlapse videos on youtube with terrible stuttering.

True. I guess the biggest advantage is the size of the videos as 10min of 4K footage will occupy a lot, and by using pictures it's possible to make it in 8K. Also, more turnkey and the drone does the job without editing
You are right the hyper-lapse is in 1080p it seems. I only had 1 battery and when the circle function kept failing, I had to make a quick call to do something else.
Still looks pretty ok, a bit jumpy.. but it would have been more fun if I had it in 8K. I will repeat this next time I get my hands on Mavic Air 2, as I still have not decided if I'm going to buy it, as I have a Mavic 2 Pro
@ICE_2K I have not forgotten about your questions, but my contact has not yet replied. But it seems you are limited to 30fps in Quickshots
