Looking through the settings, I don't see an advanced option for the gimbal to change the speed/sensitivity of the adjustment wheel.  It's not where it is for the Mini on the Fly App.

Has anyone found it/figured this out?

Stay safe everyone

Matt

Hi, urbanweb. Currently, DJI FLY does not support advanced gimbal settings. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.  I've transferred your feedback to the product department. Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

The app does have the setting when used with the Mavic Mini.  Thank you, it would be nice to have.

I’m not sure why you got that reply. Maybe she’s referring to flight sensitivity which Mavic Air has and which should be implemented on MA2 . Changing yaw sensitivity is really important for getting stable footage in both P and S mode .

When using the Fly App with the Mini, there is an advanced option for the gimbal.  It just isn’t there when using the Air 2.

You should be able to set speed of gimbal up and down as well as setting it to continue to move up and Down slightly after release of gimbal wheel. If it’s not there for MA2 it needs to be.

Agree, I can’t find it though! I’ll have another look later, but didn’t see anything in the manual for it either.

Hopefully I’m wrong!

Not had chance to check again, but it doesn’t look like you can adjust these settings at the moment.

As far as I know.. at this point that is not available for the MA2 ( it is for the mini ) so it should come in an upcoming firmware... it better be...  soon.

I hope that DJI addresses this issue and others in a short time..  the MA2 is a lovely drone with lot's of potencial, don't cripple it.

I don’t understand why some features in the Fly app are available for the Mini and not for the MA2!

This seems like a really dumb thing for DJI to have skipped over. This is one of the most important thing for capturing great video shots and one of the first things I did to my original Mavic.  DJI, please for the love of god put this back in!

Going to take the Mini and the Air 2 out to Saddleworth/Marsden Moor on Friday, have a proper play.  I’ll check everything out.  Whilst the gimbal advanced settings are a major thing, don’t think it’s put a dampener on looking forward to a proper play.

I’m also lucky enough to be only a couple of mins away from an elevated spot that looks over Manchester centre, so going to check out the sunsets to test taking some photo’s.

If they aren’t terrible, I’ll post, but to be fair, the Air 2 does make everything rather easy!

Keep smiling, and safe

It's a big disadvantage compared to my old Mavic Air, same for the lack of control sensitivity or cinematic mode, yesterday on my first flight with the MA2 it was way too jolty and quick, makes it so much harder to get smooth videos. Hope they update the software to include those ASAP.

DJI GAMORA..
It does support it in the DJI FLY APP guide that you put out for the Mavic Mini..
Just not for the higher priced Mavic Air 2. . PLEASE GIVE US A NEW DJI FLY APP GUIDE so we can know what to expect.... OR delete all the guides

How could DJI release the dji Fly app without including the gimbal control settings? It’s in the previous app for the cheaper drones Mavic Mini and Mavic Air. I’d like to hear from dji when they intend to update the app (or replace it).

no gimbal; sensitivity, no throttle.. They crippled the product.
If they keep doing this,  lets see how long  they will be  market leaders

Again what’s on the mini is gimbal control, nothing else no sensitivity settings, so to be fair mini users have now been waiting 8 months for this.

Several youtube reviewers  have  stated that the gimbal sensitivity adjustment was in the app on their pre release models. The update that was forced on everyone  when they activated the drone  took thise adjustments away and crippled it

I think it’s more likely there was slight problems with it, so most likely SW engineers took it out to optimize it. This is nothing new and happens on all similar tech and it’s right to take out rather than leave something that’s not working correctly.
Using the Air2, I find it’s not that difficult to manually control gimbal or yaw for now. But I’m looking forward to seeing what it is you can produce that’s so much better by having this implemented.

In video below it’s mentioned regarding beta Gimbal control being removed, but not to cripple anything but to fix it .
