Please explain how did you do that? Step by step please. Awesome shot btw! Im having trouble with some stitcihng SW with panoramas and posting it online. Without props and other errors in the shot. I am amazed with your beautifull 360 !
Micato,
I appreciate your kind words.
The 360 pano is quite easy to do with the Mavic. There are lots of videos on it and the Forum here has a lot of explanations on how to do it.
This is the way I do it.
First thing I do is to set the camera exposure to manual so that it does not change throughout the video. . In the DJI Go 4 app, go to camera settings>photo>pano>sphere.
Put the Mavic up in the air at the height you want to shoot at, tilt the camera down to exclude the sky. Manually set the exposure so that this area is exposed correctly
Tilt the camera back to level and start recording. When done Remove the SD card from the Mavic and save the 34 photos to a file in your computer,
I use Microsoft ICE. Choose New panorama from Images. Get the photos from the file you saved to. Choose Stitch to begin processing. Wait until the program has finished analyzing, aligning and compositing the images from the video. Choose Spherical as projection type. Select Crop and then auto complete to fill in the image.
Select Export: Export to disk and give the file a name. At this time you can not scale the photo in ICE to fit the format for SkyPixel which needs a 2 to 1 scaling.
Exit from ICE and go to the location where you saved the file.
I use GIMP to scale the picture. If you have Photoshop you can scale the photo with that or any photo editing APP. I scale to Width at 6000 pixels and height at 3000 pixels.
I then upload to SkyPixel.
If you don’t have Microsoft ICE (free download) You can use DJI Media Maker also free to make the 360 .
Hope that helps. Good luck.
Remember to post your Pano so we can see your results.
