Hi KDP+,
there are some interesting websites like https://www.heliguy.com/blog/dji-current-firmware, but even them are lacking behind on update versions.
One source where you find all information ? That would be nice. Helas, ... can follow this forum. You'll see some other people finding out that there is a new firmware / software. You can look in the "announcements" part of this forum.
Sometimes you installed a new version of the software and sudenly your device says there's an update ... same version though ... but when you look at the subnumber, it seems to have a different subnummer as you had before. So, something was solved in the same version. I had already my second version of DJI Go 4.3.36
That is not the first time this has happened. Had the same thing with firmware. After a few weeks, it seems that a reload of the same version suddenly solves a problem that you had.
The best thing to do is keep an eye on this forum, check on updates using DJI Assistent 2 for mavic, check some websites about drones, check the DJI product download page https://www.dji.com/be/mavic-2/info#downloads
Wish there was more information on updates, what is improved and what is solved in firmware and software, but there isn't one source to rule them all. Just don't get disappointed, if you encounter a specific problem, check this forum. Probably one of us has encountered it too. The products are quite stable. Don't hesitate to state a problem on this forum. It's a good source of information and I'm sure you get some help from fellow drone operators. |
