I think custom panos with AEB are better than doing a span of a one-shot because with AEB, the software always selects the sharper pixels of the images and combines them.

True, that is my weapon of choice!

AEB is the best way to photograph but it takes so much time.

True. Especially the editing.

True. Especially the editing.

Upload some more good panos you do.  I stopped doing them because I was spanning too far (distortion) and I was using too wide of a lens so I got discouraged but with the right setup it should be better but pretty much is solved with a wider angle lens and more MP lol

I actually hope they don't use a more wide lens because you can keep more distance and still get a good framing.
You can select the little planet option and keep the horizon straight to avoid this distorted effect in Autopano Giga.
Works great.

Wide-angle lens with higher MP makes up for the loss of quality when the focal length is pulled back.  I don't really like flying so much as it's boring no matter what you are over.  It only makes sense when people call you and pay you to do it.

I only fly to get shots.
Don't care about flying that much.
But it gives me great angles I can't use otherwise.
I like the 28mm lens of the Mavic Pro.
It allows me to keep a bit more distance and still get a good frame.
That is not the same as higher resolution, because cropping always makes you lose detail (even if you have more pixels, there is still less detail in the shot when you cut out parts)

I can get up in the air in no time.  FPV flying is so much better imo but it's a hassle to setup and pack it up.

I really see flying as a way of capturing my surroundings.

Nope.
I don't need that function.
I like to edit my work before I post it.

Not for me.
I can't think of any reason why I would use that.
