Similar performance, similar image quality.  The Mavic is more compact if that's important to you.

I believe the P4P V2 video footage is superior to the M2P. However everything else about the MP2 is better.

M2P is much more portable.  Some prefer the camera on the P4Pro v2 as it has a rolling shutter.

P4Pro does have other advantages,  its slightly easier for hand launch/catch and for mapping missions.

(Actually it does, but it also has a mechanical shutter while the M2 pro only has a rolling shutter)

No problem.

M2P easier to carry around but I defer to P4P if it's windy as it handles better. And the P4 is easier to see as I continually lose sight of the M2P against heavily treed hills and areas.
So P4P if I don't have to carry it too far and M2P if walking etc.
