Hi, so if anyone can help me that would be great!

I got my DJI mavic mini at the start of this month and it was great until a few days ago when I landed and noticed that the back left motor was stuck and would not move without a lot of force but the thing is I have been so careful with it and haven't crashed it, scraped it or even landed in a dusty location. I have been so careful to prevent anything from happening.

I have the fly more combo and I first noticed it when I landed. I went to fold the drone up and move the props into its place but the once motor wouldn't move.

I contacted DJI and they told me to contact a certified repair shop near me.

what should I do?

P.S. Here is a video of my problem.

There is a video on youtube

which suggests checking the motor for hair or thread etc. that has got caught and wound up inside the motor, use a magnifying glass or a magnifying app on your phone. If you see any CAREFULLY remove it. DO NOT scratch the copper wire you will see in the coils inside the motor nor would I use steel/magnetic tools  'inside' the motor, tooth picks come to mind.
You might also find https://www.rcgeeks.co.uk/blogs/ ... ardown-whats-inside interesting and maybe useful

If its the like of a hair you can probably get that out without violating warranty but I'd think twice about removing the motor if you are concerned about the warranty.

Hey.
I actually just saw thay YouTube video earlier today.

I took a look with the flashlight on my phone and didn't see anything. Like I said it's pretty new (only had it for 20 days) and I haven't flown it much.

I don't know if it is an issue caused by me or if it is a manufacturing issue but thanks for your help

Hi there, for fly safety considering, you are recommended to send the drone in for a diagnosis. You may contact our support team at http://www.dji.com/support to open a case and then send it back or contact your dealer for help. Should you encounter any difficulties during the repair process, please feel free to let me know your case number, I'd like to help you keep an eye on it.
