The problem is here in South East Asia, grey importers are reselling "CN" or "FCC" versions of the Mavic Air 2 at a higher price than the RRP. There is an attempt to profiteer due to this confusion caused by DJI design choice of 2 hardware versions for Mavic Mini. Around US1000 for regular RRP flymore combo, US$1050 for "CN" / "FCC" Flymore combo but with 1 battery removed (total 2pcs).
And who can blame the customers? They were badly burned by the weak Mavic Mini CE Wifi range.
agree with your points, even with so called CN=FCC what is the meaning, they no even to explain it.
Here is my finding about MA2 model
there got two model for MA2 drone,
drone model 1 = MA2UE3W (ADS-B equipped)
drone model 2 = MA2UE1N (Non ADS-B equipped)
For Remote controller, there will be one model only RC231 as is multi channel RC
For model code they claimed, CN=FCC
Here is my some finding, as the country code represent the product sell to.
So
(US) = FCC (equipped ADS-B)
(CN) = SRRC (non equipped ADS-B), they claimed this is FCC
(TW) = FCC (non equipped ADS-B)
(EU) = CE (non equipped ADS-B)
(JP) = MIC (non equipped ADS-B)
Above are only my guessing for DJI product code placement.
And what i expect FCC set from the seller are from USA, no product market for China.
