Hi Everyone,

So I just received my new M2P on Friday and lastnight when I removed it from my bag, I notived the 5D button was missing! I managed to find it at the bottom of my bag but is this normal?! Are they soldered to the board or is this button user detachable?or  Manufacturer defect?

Ive never seen that happen,  mines really tight,  I would return it why you still can.

From the photo it appears to have broken off. If you are not able to push it back in and it stays firmly, you will need it repaired. I use the 5d button all the time to control shutter and aperture.

I would send it back for a replacement.

That's good to hear.

My 5d button also fell off. The replacements do not come with the small white square section connector to push into the board button. Anyone know where to but one of these?

You'll have to replace the button board if that white section has broken off as it is part of the board.
The 5d button is also available seperately
