I have exactly the same problem. I was advised to go into the Aircraft Status window and look for the ESC Status. It should tell you what is the error if it is a hardware error. My problem is that when I go into the Aircraft Status screen, there is no ESC Status listed while when I have disconnected the I phone from the controller it shows the ESC Status as Normal. Also looking for someone with advice?

I hope you can help me. I have the same issue. Phantom 3 advanced esc error when trying to take off or start motors. I have downgraded firmware to all the versions available through the app and reinstalled the latest that they have. Ver 1.11.20

Still nothing. So I purchased another ESC and fitted today and still the same problem. And I've done all the firmware as above again and still no change. Can you PLEASE PLEASE help me. Controller, app and Drone are all connected OK. Gimbal goes up and down but won't go left to right. Don't know if that makes any difference to flying? Edit. Not sure if this means anything but even though the mode button is in F mode and the icon on app shows that when I first load the app it comes up to say that its in Altitude mode but then goes away. I move the button and put it back to F mode and then it says take off and try again......

Hello DJI Natalia. Sorry for taking so long to reply. Been busy.

The drone is now fixed. Found it was a faulty motor in the end.

Hello. Sorry to jump on an old thread.
Got the same issue
Phantom 3 advanced.
Sat for a year, but made sure the battery was fine.

Charged -> updated
Tried to fly -> esc error...

How to resolve this?
