Mavic Air 2, all sensors activated and tripod or normal mode, late afternoon and sun towards sunset, countryside area.
When I was traveling against the light, and I saw the flares in the camera, the drone often stopped, activating the front sensor, as if it saw an obstacle. But in reality there was no obstacle.
In all other directions, where there was no sun against, no problem.
Do you have news about the sun that, backlit, activates the sensors and stops the drone? THANKS!

Yes, the sun triggers the sensor and the drone don't know what to do anymore.

Usually turn my sensors off due to constant false alarms.

Yes I noticed this to flying last night as the sun was going down but it is mentioned in the manual about APAS/sensors and dark or very bright situations that might cause issues.

Hi there, the performance of the obstacle avoidance function may be affected when the aircraft is exposed to direct, strong light. For example, the aircraft may incorrectly brake if it faces the sun directly. This is normal, it doesn't mean the sensor has a hardware issue. We appreciate your understanding.
