It's amazing how far these quads have progressed. My AIr 1 tried to land several times over water when the drone thought it was lower than it actually was.

I wonder how it would have perfumed if the water was deeper.

Good find. Really impress it didn't land.

Wonder how it performs on a lake. I'm just too nervous to try that landing.

Wow i almost choked i thought it was going to land. Impressive and i am glad he tried it and not me.

The MA2 is my first drone.  I was worried about it accidentally landing in the pond behind my house.  However that isn't the sort of thing you want to test using your own drone!

He wasn't pulling the stick all the way down at first, but when he did it long enough: Oops!    Hahaha

I have gotten the unsuitable place to land warning before one time but it was above a normal place on land. I just forced it down (down-stick). I guess the firmware is just set overly sensitive for this and I am perfectly ok with that. This means I may not have to research a flotation method ;-)

This should be posted in the MA2 forum. I almost missed it here.
