I've seen right now that opdate 1.1.3 of Dji Fly for Iphone is available.
release note :
"Fixes crashing issues and improves app stability".

Installed yet on my Iphone 8 and no issue for the moment but not tested in flight for now because of the strong wind.

I've seen no visual improve for now.

yes, confirmed, still no improved top line...Another visual improvement would be to have in the bottom line an
indicator, what white balance mode is active:

AWB  or MWB 5.6K for example

I have returned to a previous FW version, the last one is unsustainable, too many errors on propellers that are perfectly , SOLve IT soon DJI !!!!!

they started releasing new app updates every week..that's either a good or bad sign..worst case scenario they will introduce even more bugs, as they will mostly concentrate on features for the air 2...or best case scenario they started doing their job and improving and fixing the app at last, half an year later
too bad it takes 1 week to roll out fully the update, that way most people will be always one version behind

actually no, obviously 1.1.2 was released on 15th, and on 20th the next iteration, which will be 1.1.3. the thing is with the crappy rolling updates DJI are performing, it takes up to a week for the update to come to some stores ...which brings another question- why Android users are screwed like that again...apart from the app being a lot crappier on Android, the updates are always late...

ive updated the software on my iphone 11 unfortnately we have 50 mph winds today so cant test it lol! o well i can sit here and look at the mini instead

Thats a first mate, same weather here. And i thought the winds are always gentle in yorkshire

50 mph is gentle in yorkshire my good nothern friend ! Its probably worse where you are.

I did mannage to get out and test the mini the other day with the overspeed error warning.

Will try to get out early next week to see what if any differences have been made?

no if you check the screenshot i posted you can see app was updated on 20th of may(the issue is the newest version is not shown), the 1.1.2 was released on 15th...so this is new update, the issues is as it is rolling it takes days or a week to come, which is kind of strange

Two attempts and two failures. After about 3 minutes app crash, tried 7,8 times to restart app, no chance. Two days in a row, same crash. Luckily RTH button on RC work as expected, bird came home safe.

Hi,

On IOS, the downgrade procedure is not so simple, you have to save the previous version on a computer (using for example AnyTrans) to be able to restore it.
Have you tried discharging the app and reinstalling it ? => go to setup / general / dji fly. Then you have a discharge button to tap. After a few minutes/ seconds, the button becomes "reinstall the app", tap on it and the app will be fresh installed without loosing parameters. You will pehaps loose the cashed files and logs, I don't know (I have not used this procedure on Dji Fly).

I have not been able to test this version in flight for the moment, 30 to 60 km/h of wind where I am

However, i think, the app should give a message warning user about memory full.

how do you check the level of memory use on the Iphone?

Don't forget that the app now supports the Mavic 2 Air as well, so there is probably more going on, thus the more frequent updates.

Returned home, I've conected the phone to PC to download logs and, in windows expolrer, iphone, internal memory free 0kb.

Another 1.1.13 update just appeared today too... so many app updates in just a few days.

It would be a good idea for DJI Fly to be able to display the battery used on the last flight on the last day before installing another battery inside the Mavic and turning it on. This would allow for rotations to maintain similar charge and discharge cycles on all batteries.

Which bugs were in 1.1.0, for example, and which of them are now fixed? Reminder: "Bugfix" sometimes means new bugs, a bug addon, so to speak. I can also imagine that current app updates are primarily modifications for the Air2.

You could go to the About menu in the Fly App, scroll down a bit and look at Times Battery Charged or number all your batteries and keep track of them that way.
