Seagulls are annoying me so much, preventing me from doing my realtor marketing job, I confess I am spending time working on the most ridiculous mods to try to scare them away.
That time, the plan was to make the MM look way bigger with a 2-foot wingspan at hardly any extra weight (20 grams)
Picture of the 3d-printed + spars mod attached.
Oh well... See the outcome at 0:23, while I am getting the infamous alert : "engines working at max speed".
So as a result, I am the one frightened - and the seagulls keep on laughing
How could I kill those scary vibrations ? Some rubber rings where the tubes pass into the rig legs to dampen the vibrations maybe ?
What do you think ?
That vibration is pretty bad. Rubber rungs might help lower it but looks like a lot of stress on the drone. Plus the wind could effect it and it might also have a greater chance of getting hit by the birds that are curious about your drone.

Indeed.
I'd love to have access to the PIDs, decrease P and increase I.
But I guess that is not possible with DJI birds.

It would be cool to have some advanced features you could unlock so you could tweak your drone to fit specific needs. But alas the warranty would definitely be void.

Get yourself a colorful skin, much more effective at scaring away birds without inflicting any damage to your bird (no pun intended):
I still believe the best way is a skin (tape might work, but if you couple it with some fancier colors the better) and avoidance tactics. There's only so much that you can do. I mean... if real passenger aircrafts are still vulnerable to bird strikes, we can accept the risk with a Mini UAV.
