Living in Australia, you probably should consider nd filters. They help a lot with getting smoother flow footage in bright light. Having a set from nd8 to nd32 is pretty much enough. I would avoid polarized filters since you can't change their angle depending on light source angle in a given moment. So more often they bring more trouble than benefit.
Thanks again for your comments. I am looking at a set of straight ND filters 8,16,32,64. A bright beach day in Oz 64 may be ok. I also would like to do some long exposure of beach and rapids with Nd1000 or 2000. |
